Roles

Roles control what users can access and manage within your XyRo organization.

They allow fine-grained permission management across all major modules.

What Roles Control​

Roles can define permissions for:

  • Receptor
  • Dashboard
  • Analytics
  • Synapse

Permissions determine whether a user can:

  • View data
  • Create or edit configurations
  • Take actions such as moving leads, running searches, or drafting emails

Default Roles​

Admin​

  • Has access to all permissions
  • Can manage:
    • Configurations
    • Leads
    • Analytics
    • Synapse
    • Organization settings
    • Member roles

Member​

  • Can view the Dashboard
  • Can access only their own assigned companies and contacts
  • Cannot modify organization-wide settings

Creating Custom Roles​

You can create custom roles with fine-grained permissions, such as:

  • View-only access to Receptor
  • Dashboard edit access without Analytics
  • Synapse access without lead management

This helps tailor access for sales, operations, or leadership roles.

Managing Organization Members​

From the Roles section, you can:

  • View all organization members
  • Assign or change roles
  • Revoke access when needed

Role changes take effect immediately.
