Follow-ups
Follow-ups help you track next actions for companies and contacts.
They are tightly integrated with notes, the Dashboard, and the Calendar.
Creating Follow-ups
Follow-ups can be created from:
- Company notes
- Contact notes
Each follow-up requires:
- A due date
- A due time
You can also include contextual notes to describe the task.
Ownership and Permissions
- The user who creates a follow-up becomes its owner
- Only the owner can:
- Edit the follow-up
- Resolve the follow-up
Resolving Follow-ups
- Resolving a follow-up marks it as complete
- Resolved follow-ups:
- Disappear from the Calendar
- Remain linked to the original note for history
Where Follow-ups Appear
- Dashboard – linked to the relevant company or contact
- Calendar – shown until resolved
This ensures no follow-up is missed while keeping historical context intact.
