Daily Brief

The Daily Brief is the morning summary Agent X shows at the top of the chat when you haven't started a conversation yet — a quick read on what changed overnight and what needs your attention today.

Layers​

The brief is organized into tabs:

  • Urgent — high-scoring signals and Vigil tenders close to their deadline
  • Signals — new Receptor news signals discovered since your last visit
  • Team — pipeline stats: total pipeline, in-conversation count, contact rate, and anything flagged as needing attention
  • Market — broader market intelligence gathered for your organization
  • Actions — recommended next steps Agent X has identified

Each tab shows a count badge. Only the top item is shown by default — click +N more — show all to expand a tab, or Collapse to go back to one.

Acting on an Item​

Each card can carry different actions depending on its source:

  • View — jump straight to the item (opens the matching Vigil tender, or the relevant config page)
  • Mark as read / Not interested — resolves a Receptor news signal or a Vigil tender without further action
  • Move to Cortex — pushes a Receptor news signal straight into your pipeline
  • Dismiss — clears the card from the brief without taking any other action

Severity and deadline badges (e.g. SOS, High, "closes in 2 days") come directly from the underlying signal — never fabricated by Agent X.

Team Tab​

Unlike the other tabs, Team always shows a fixed set of stats rather than a list of items:

  • Total pipeline
  • In-conversation
  • Contact rate
  • A "needs attention" card, when something stands out (e.g. a rep with no recent activity)

Refreshing​

The brief loads once when you open Agent X. Dismissing or acting on an item updates it immediately — no need to reload the page.
