Add Optic Configuration

Create a new Optic configuration to start discovering leads.

Steps to Add Configuration​

  1. Navigate to Aptic → Add Configuration
  2. Click Add Configuration
  3. Fill in the configuration fields
  4. Click Save

Configuration Fields​

Geography (required)

  • Select regions or countries
  • Optic will focus on companies in these locations
  • You can also preview tha area selected by clicking "Show Map"

Keywords

  • Add custom terms relevant to your product
  • Optic prioritizes news containing these keywords
  • 3-5 keywords recommended for best results

After Saving​

  • Configuration takes effect on the next scan cycle
  • You'll start receiving matching companies in your Cortex
  • Notifications will alert you when new leads are found

Tips​

  • Start broad, then refine based on results
  • Review lead quality after the first week
  • Adjust keywords if you're getting too much noise
